By Johnny Cullen

Eurogamer’s announced that Stainless Games is to give a talk on Carmageddon: Reincarnation at Rezzed in July in Brighton.

Production director Ben Gunstone will give the talk on Friday, July 6 on the tough challenges the studio faced in putting together its Kickstarter campaign for Reincarnation.

The Kickstarter total is currently nearly at $300,000 of the planned $400,000 target.

Those who’ve pledged support will be able to ask on its status and learn the ins and outs of crowd-sourced development.

“Talking at Rezzed brings us face to face with the PC and Indie gaming enthusiasts – the guys and girls who really matter,” said Stainless Games co-founder Neil Barnden.

“We have a thriving online community but there’s nothing better than coming to an event like Rezzed where we can share our news and get direct feedback. We can’t wait.”

Eurogamer operations director Tom Bramwell added: “Crowd-sourced development is one of the most exciting innovations in independent game production since the advent of digital distribution, and we’re thrilled to have the Stainless guys at Rezzed to talk about their experience.”

Rezzed, Eurogamer’s PC-centric show in association with Rock Paper Shotgun, takes place at the Brighton Centre in Brighton between July 6-7. Tickets can be bought here.
