Whether you like it or not, I think we all have to admit that Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' is THE song of the summer. I know I pretty much have it in my head every second of the day and the truth is I'm not really minding that fact ...yet. I know eventually it will send me into that state of mental hell previously caused by 'Party Rock Anthem' and 'Friday', but I'm still enjoying it. Corgis always make everything better. Just ask The Queen. And the internet. The internet loves them some corgis. Am I the only one who prefers the hot dog to the hot dude in the original? Not only is he a better actor, but I also like his shirtless wet writhing better as well. It's way less cheesy when a dog does it.
Katy Perry And Friends
It's kind of fascinating to watch celebs and their hanger-ons 'have fun'. I like when Katy yells out "That's my house manager!" , words I'm certain I will never utter. It's also fascinating to see Katy Perry and Zoey Deschanel in the same friggin' place, at the same time. Sorry conspiracy theorists! They are not the same person! So start focusing on the important things like the Mayan calendar end of the world deal-y again before it's too late.
President Obama
You have to admire the effort this one took. Although I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't really President Obama singing it. He would slay it like it was Osama! Campaign slogan free of charge.
