Human Element is Bowling’s zombie apocalypse game, slated for 2015

Robert Bowling has revealed his firm’s first project, Human Element, will focus on surviving the zombie apocalypse.

To Bowling and Robotoki, the greatest threat in such a circumstance, is fear, which will be the main tenant running though the game.

“Their greatest strength is the fear that [zombies] instill in us, the survivors, that unreasonable fear. Unreasonable fear that leads us to do unreasonable things to survive,” he told Game Informer.

Players will use the game’s character creation system to choose one of three classes, Action, Intelligence, and Stealth. Each has its own identity as well: Survive Alone, Survive with a Partner, or Survive with a Young Child.

“How you choose to start in the world will determine how you can engage and impacts the scenarios you will be presented with on a physical and morality level.” Bowling explained.

Human Element is slated for release on next-gen, PC, mobile, and tablets in 2015.

More on the game will be revealed in the July issue of Game Informer.
