Two British computer hackers operating under the group name of Lulzsec have pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy related to attacks on websites belonging to Sony, Nintendo, the NHS, and various other institutions.
Ryan Clearly, 19, and 18-year old Jake Davis both pleaded guilty to the Southwark Crown Court today, admitting they belonged to the hacker group Lulzsec and had carried out DDOS attacks on the group’s behalf.
Among the websites they had bought down were those belonging to Sony, Nintendo, News International, Arizona State Police and 20th Century Fox.
However, both the youths have so far denied allegations that they posted “unlawfully obtained confidential computer data” online through LuzSec’s own website, The Pirate Bay and PasteBin.
Two other suspected hackers belonging to the group will face trial on April 8 next year.
