Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013 supports new Fearmaster light-gun peripheral

By Jeff Dunn

This year’s iteration of the Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts franchise will sport a new wireless light-gun peripheral called the Top Shot Fearmaster, Activision has revealed.

This bad boy features a biometric heart rate monitor and motion stability sensors, meaning that if you start to lose your nerve in the face of the wild, the Fearmaster will recognize it and make aiming and precision more difficult. Alternatively, being in a calm state and a relaxed environment will let you line up that killshot with ease.

Other than that, well, it’s a light-gun, so you should know what to expect by now.

The Fearmaster will come bundled with Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013 when it releases on October 23 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Two versions will be available: the standard, fully-featured gun for $79.99, or a sensor-less one for $59.99. A Wii edition of the game is available as well for $29.99, but that one only supports the Wii remote and the sensor-free gun.

Thanks, Mashable.
