PS4 is rumored to support 4K resolution playback, according to a report on BGR. The report cites a source who said it’s just one of the tech incentives Sony will offer to get consumers to upgrade. Sony’s first step, according to the report, is the selling of 4K Blu-ray players which it’s already doing, and the next is the upcoming 80-inch XBR LED television set, which supports 4K resolution, or 3096 x 3072. The next PlayStation model will be step three, if the report is accurate. Sony has not announced its next console. Thanks, AGB.
