5 Foods to Try Combining with Ice Cream

Mikey McCollor

Every time I open up my freezer, I see a big carton of ice cream sitting alone, by itself, waiting to be eaten. But listen, I grew up as a fat kid! I can't just sit on my sofa with a carton of ice cream and just HOPE no one will judge me. So I'm thinking about combining ice cream with other foods I have around the house.

Pretzels

Anyone with a BRAIN knows that ice cream is better than the pretzel's usual partner, cheese sauce. Did you know that Pol Pot, former Cambodian leader and one of history's greatest villains, used to sit down nightly with a big bowl of cheese sauce? This fact is not true, but considering how awful cheese sauce is, it might as well be true.

Avocado

Listen, people like avocado. They like ice cream. I can't guarentee it'll be good, but if those who came before us had waited for guarentees, would they have ever made it to the moon? Invented the internet? Created the TV show LOST? So be bold. Be daring. Be the guy who puts avocado in your ice cream. Or you will let all of mankind down.

Brownies

I get it, I get it. Brownies are already great. But adding this wonderful, excessive layer of ice cream will bring everything to a whole new level of greatness. It's like holding a megaphone up to a Marshall half-stack.

Rice Cakes

I've never tried putting ice cream on top of rice cakes, but I think it's a good idea because my god SOMETHING has to be changed about rice cakes. They taste like a cardboard that a homeless guy's been sleeping on.

More Ice Cream

To hell with it all! The only thing ice cream needs is more ice cream! Also, make sure you have enough self esteem to sit by yourself and eat ice cream. Remember, no one's going to judge you! You're great just the way you are!

You're going to eat the WHOLE carton though?
