UK video games charity GamesAid has revealed the winners for its 2012 funding prize. Action For Kids, Jigsaw4U, Small Steps, Special Effect and The Willow Foundation received the plaudits and £36,000 in funding.
To have a chance of nabbing the prize each charity must have a turnover of £5 million or more. Running costs must also amount to 30% or less.
GamesAid raises its funding through a number of charity events. The Gem Golf and Spa Day, Gamescom to Brighton bike ride, Sega cricket match, Rising Star Games Vets Football and Eurogamer Expo party are a few of the highlights.
UK games industry members can join the charity right here.
Congratulations to all the winners!
Thanks, MCV.
