Need for Speed: Most Wanted – Criterion managed to “crowbar the entire game” onto Vita

In Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Criterion has said it managed to “crowbar the entire game” into the Vita version of the racer.

Speaking in a developer entry on the PS Blog, community manager Jeremy Chubb said releasing the game on Vita represents a “huge step” for the developer.

“We managed to crowbar the entire PlayStation 3 game onto the system,” said Chubb. “Almost all the races and events, the online play – albeit with four players rather than eight – and the massive open world is right there in the Vita version, plus a few more that are exclusive to the system.”

Sounds liked good news for Vita users who wish to take their racing on-the-go, then.

Most Wanted is out on various platform October 30 in North America, November 1 in Europe and Australia, and in the UK on November 2.
