Black Ops 2 sold over 1 million copies during its midnight launch at GameStop alone, the retailer’s president Tony Bartel told Bloomberg via email. Analyst Michael Olson, according to Gamespot, has estimated the game sold between 6.5 million and 7.2 million units day-one sales, which would rival Modern Warfare 3’s day-one 6.5 million units last year.
