By Dave Cook

Project Godus should receive a playable prototype by Christmas, 22 Cans head Peter Molyneux has revealed. Best of all, it’ll be playable for backers to help the studio collate feedback and expand it further. Get the details below.

Speaking with Joystiq, Molyneux said, “I hope by Christmas we have a prototype that people can download and say, ‘Actually, you know what, they’re already doing good work,’

“And this is what needs to happen with Kickstarter and games. The promises… wouldn’t it be amusing if I was the one to prove this right? These promises have to result in great games.”

At the time of writing the Project Godus Kickstarter project has amassed £193,708
of its £450,000 goal with 18 days left on the clock. Better get those skates on guys.
