Fighting Fantasy classic House of Hell is available now on Android and iDevice courtesy of new license holders Tin Man Games.
“Ian Livingstone and I have always wanted the series to keep up with the times, and this treatment of House of Hell is exactly what we were hoping for,” author and franchise co-creator Steve Jackson said.
“Neil and Ben at Tin Man have excelled themselves with this iOS/Android version. They have reached a new standard of digital gamebooks design excellence, and I congratulate them on this achievement.”
It’s the second Fighting Fantasy gamebook from the indie Tin Man Games, and this one is a wee bit special. You can play on your iPod Touch, iPhone, Android smartphone or tablet, but on the iPad, you can turn it horizontally to play with a two page view, like a real book. Although its boasts new coloured art and a soundtrack, House of Hell comes with a classic option which presents like the original 1980’s book.
Fighting Fantasy: House of Hell is available right now for $5.99/£3.99/€5.49, from a variety of App Stores; choose the appropriate venue for your device from the franchise’s app hub.
