Velocity is heading to PS Vita as Velocity Ultra, according to a post on the PS Blog from FuturLab.
The game is getting a “native Vita” version, after many fans of the minis title requested it, according to the post. It will featureTrophies, online high scores and an overhauled visual style with a higher standard for the cutscenes.
The art style will be unified, as the developer is “ditching pixel art in favor of an edgy cartoon style.”
Currently in the pre-Alpha stage, a solid release should be announced sometime after the game is submitted to Sony at the beginning of April.
At present, a May release is what the developer is aiming for.
