Browser-based Kingdom Hearts X free-to-play officially announced

By Phil Owen

Square Enix has officially announced the free-to-play Kingdom Hearts X (chi, not the Roman numeral for 10) on the Message from the Kingdom.

Such a thing has been rumored, but today is the official confirmation. This browser-based title will feature microtransactions, of course, but if you pre-order Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, you will get some free stuff, like a Sora (R+) card, 20,000 munny and 4,000 card draw points, and if you order from Square Enix directly you’ll also get a Riku (R+) card, 10 potions, and 10 ethers.

Kingdom Hearts X is being developed by Success Corporation, which you might remember from Tokyo Beat Down.

Thanks, Siliconera.
