GDC Organizers have announced “love” themed talks for the March event from industry vets David Gaider, Frank Lantz, and Schell Games.

Dragon Age’s David Gaider will discuss sexuality in games in his talk “Sex in Video Games” where he will shed light on how “sexism and sexuality in games can affect not only sales, but public perception about the company”.

Frank Lantz’s talk “Strange Love: Game Theory vs. Game Design” will touch upon human behavior via the “intersection of math and art.”

And Schell Games designer Heidi McDonald will talk about how designers – both male and female – deal with NPC romance in her session “Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Ferelden.”

GDC 2013 takes place March 25-29 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
