Capcom has said it hopes Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate’s release in the west will be met with a “breakthrough” of the sort it receives in Japan. Part of the popularity plan, is making the game accessible on-the-go with 3DS and then continuing the game at home on Wii U; plus, in April the game will be updated with cross-region multiplayer and off-screen play. “In terms of us intentionally doing this, it’s always been our wish to make a good start and we’ve always been saying we’ll do this at one point,” producer Ryozo Tsujimotos told Eurogamer. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is due in March.
