US PS Store update, March 19 – Dead or Alive 5 Plus, Hot Shots Golf, bundles

By Brenna Hillier

This week’s North American PlayStation Store update is a bit light on full games, but offers a wide variety of bundles and add-ons as well as the Defiance beta for Plus subscribers.

Only one full PS3 game this week – The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct – but Trion’s Defiance is up for pre-order.

Dollar Dash has arrived in the PSN game category, and on Vita, there’s tactical action game Nun Attack and Dead or Alive 5 Plus.

PSOne Classic Hogs of War is now available on PS3, Vita and PSP. Newly released PSP title Carnage Heart EXA is available on the Vita, too, and PSOne Classic Persona 2: Innocent Sin has made the jump to PSP.

Bundle-wise, you can save on Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventure of Arland with a pile of DLC; Darksiders and Darksiders 2 with all DLC; Darksiders 2 Ultimate Edition; Dead or Alive 5 Plus on PS3 and Vita; Dead or Alive 5 Plus with PSP title Dead or Alive Paradise; MX vs ATV Ultimate Bundle; and a double pack with Wheel of Fortune and Jeaopardy.

Plus members get The Cave and Tekken 6 PSP free, as well as discounts on Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken and Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational on Vita. They also now have access to the Defiance beta.

There’s a demo out for Dollar Dash, Dead or Alive 5 Plus, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, for those who like to try before they buy.

DLC is, as usual, one of the largest categories. Check out new content for Aliens: Colonial Marines; Assassin’s Creed 3; Battlefield 3; Capcom Arcade Cabinet; Dead or Alive 5 Plus; Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires; Guardians of Middle-Earth; Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational; Magic: the Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013; Mass Effect 3; NASCAR: The Game: Inside Line; LittleBigPlanet; Pinball Arcade; PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale; Resident Evil 6; Rock Band 3; RockSmit; Silent Hill: Book of Memories; Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception; and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels Plus.
