Announced during the Gran Turismo series’ 15th anniversary event, GT6 will release with a revamped engine, a new suspension system, reworked tire and aerodynamics modelling, a vriety of “Edge Effects”, and more.
The game will boast 33 circuits with 71 different layouts available, 19 of them brand new. There will also be regular additions of new tracks set to be made available monthly through DLC, and contains 200 more cars than GT5, with 1200 available at release and more available after launch.
Players will be able to create their own racing series and championships to compete online and they will have more control over online events. This will all be accomplished using new course maker features, and scenery can be expanded several tens of square miles.
A new user interface, will allow players to focus on quick responses and short load times, and balances directional key operation and touch operation. This is due to an app connecting the experience between users PlayStation, phone, tablet and PC.
Gran Turismo 6 is out this holiday season on PS3 and more announcements are planned for E3 in June and gamescom in August. A demo is slated for July.
