A report from the Associated Press indicates that the deal between the NFL and Microsoft for Xbox One is worth $400 million over five years for the NFL.

The deal between the two companies would allow Xbox One users to watch football games and by 2014, tablets as well.

The $400 million figure was tossed out by a person familiar with the agreement, noting that the financial details have not been made public as of yet.

NFL on Xbox One will allow users to watch the games, chat with friends during using Skype, view stats, and get real-time highlights. The NFL option will also update Fantasy Football leagues with players and team stats in real-time on the TV.

Microsoft’s SmartGlass app will also bring the NFL on Xbox to user’s mobile devices.

An NFL football lover’s dream.
