Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey hits 3DS and Vita on June 21 in Europe. Here’s the launch trailer celebrating the arrival of the TT Games affair.

Legends of Chima is a new Lego property about tribes of animals; there’s a TV show, too. In this game, players take control of Laval, a warrior prince of the Lion Tribe, on his quest for justice. He’s trying to get his hands (paws?) on the legendary triple-CHI armor before his arch-rival, Cragger the Crocodile King, can do the same.

There are 15 levels and 60 characters to be unlocked, and something of a Metroidvania approach to secrets with successive equipment upgrades. Progress rewards players with points that cna be used in the Chima Vault, an online hub for all things Legends of Chima, and earn unlocks for an upcoming MMO.

Laval’s Journey is just one of three games in the Legends of Chima franchise; check out a few screenshots, too.
