Amazon has announced its Video Games Store has broken a record, thanks to PS4 and Xbox One. According to a statement the retailer sent over, there was a 4,000% year-on-year increase in console pre-orders during E3. Granted, the only console that came out was Wii U and 3DS XL – but still. The firm said pre-orders for the two consoles have been twice that of all video games orders made during Black Friday 2012 – a massive day for any retailer normally. At its peak, customers pre-ordered 2,500 next-gen consoles a minute during E3.
