Call of Duty: Ghosts has been confirmed for Wii U for a November release.
Activision announced the title for the Nintendo system, as well as a myriad of other titles coming in the next few months for Wii U fans.
“As we have said before, we’re committed to doing everything we can to support the Wii U, which is why we’re excited to be bringing some of the most popular entertainment franchises in the world to the platform this year,” said Eric Hirshberg, Activision Publishing CEO.
“The Call of Duty franchise continues to be one of the most powerful forces in gaming and Skylanders continues to enchant new fans around the world. Our studios have been hard at work creating brand new immersive experiences perfectly suited to the Wii U platform and our fall lineup has something for everyone.”
The 2013 second-half Wii U slate includes the following:
Call of Duty: Ghosts – The title includes Wii Remote and second-screen Wii UGamePad support and more and will release on November 5 alongside PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
Skylanders SWAP Force — The game will release in North America on October 13, Australia on October 16 and Europe on October 18.
Angry Birds Trilogy – The game contains Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio and 40 hours of bonus levels previously not on disc and is slated for release on August 13.
Angry Birds Star Wars – The game is scheduled for release on October 29.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge — The title is expected to release this fall.
Wipeout Create & Crash — Based on ABC’s popular TV game show, the game is expected to be released this fall.
