Summer Carnival ’92: RECCA will be heading to the eShop “soon” Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct session today.
The notoriously hard-to-find Famicom game was originally designed for a games festival in Japan in the summer of 1992.
It’s remembered as being one of “the most challenging shooters ever created,” and soon you won’t have to fork over an arm and a leg in an online auction for it. Unless you really want the cartridge that is – otherwise, just download it on 3DS.
While a US date was not confirmed, you can download it on the eShop in Europe on August 15.
Also announced was Art Academy: SketchPad eShop on August 9 for Wii U.
The application uses features from an upcoming edition of the Art Academy series for Wii U to let users create original artwork that can be posted directly to Miiverse.
Screenshots of the app are below.
