PS Vita 2000 features a micro USB port that allows user to charge the device using smartphone cables. Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has posted a new photo of the device online.
It appeared on his Twitter feed yesterday:
PS Vita 2000を使っていて何気に嬉しいのはMicro USBでスマホの充電器で充電出来ること。#充電ismylife pic.twitter.com/LvYhCbSKkB

Note the micro USB port at the bottom of the device. His text reads, “You’ll be glad: when using a PS Vita 2000, it can be charged [using a] smartphone Micro USB.”
PS Vita 2000 hasn’t been given a European release window but UK MD Fergal Gara has recently asked us to ‘watch this space’. Tantalising.
