Rocksmith 2014 has a new video available detailing Session Mode, which allows the player to lead an artificially intelligent band that plays along with them. The virtual band, which can be customized through over 70 different Session Mode instruments, reacts to the player’s riffing prowess dynamically. Since it is an advanced feature set, players can get themselves up to the task by going through various missions. Experts can “jump right in and play along the entire guitar neck by zooming out.” Session Mode is also available in multiplayer mode, so two players can jam side-by-side. Rocksmith 2014 Edition will hit shelves on October 18 in in North America and October 25 in the UK on Mac, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
