This week’s North American PlayStation Plus update brings TellTale’s latest adventure, the first PS4 pre-orders, and a truckload of re-releases.
We kick things off with a couple of PS4 pre-orders (oh my gosh it is nearly November how exciting): Knack, and Warframe. As you may recall, Warframe is a free-to-play game, so um, I guess the pre-order functions as a download queue.
As for things you can have right now, there are a couple of PS3 full games. Grab God of War: Ascension, Cabela’s African Adventures and Champion Jockey. On the PSN side, TellTale’s already popular The Wolf Among Us is out, as is Who Wants to Be a Millionaire – Special Edition.
On Vita, check out Angry Birds Trilogy and its angry-making price tag, along with Valhalla Knights 3, an XSEED-localised JRPG.
There are actually lots of other new packages, but they’re all bundles or “Ultimate Editions“. If you haven’t picked up any of the following games its worth checking out these versions, which come with lots of extras like DLC: Crysis 3 Ultimate Edition, Dead Space 3 Ultimate Edition. Need for Speed: Most Wanted Ultimate Edition, Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut Ultimate Edition, Prototype 2 Ultimate Edition, Resident Evil 6 Ultimate Edition, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist Ultimate Edition, NBA 2K14 Super Fan Pack.
For PlayStation Plus subscribers, there’s a free copy of Poker Night 2 and lots of discounts.
On the demo side, there are tasters for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Pacific Rim and The Wolf Among Us.
DLC-wise, there’s new content for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters, Metro: last Light, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, Payday 2, Pro Foosball, Star Wars Pinball, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, The Last of Us, Tour de France 2013 – 100th Edition, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Zen Pinball 2.
