Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior tasks you with cleaning up Lo Wang’s mess

By Stephany Nunneley

RuneStorm and Flying Wild Hog have announced a cross-over between the former’s Viscera Cleanup Detail and the latter’s Shadow Warrior.

Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior is a free standalone mini-game which takes place after Lo Wang’s first big katana battle against the yakuza. You play as a hapless janitor from Zilla Enterprises tasked with cleaning up the bloody mess.

“When our team first saw Viscera Cleanup Detail on Steam Greenlight we absolutely loved with the idea of a person out there that had to clean up after big battles in FPS or horror games,” said Michal Szustak, Flying Wild Hog’s studio head.

“RuneStorm has done a tremendous job in taking a key scene from Shadow Warrior and recreating its aftermath to form a fun and hilariously frustrating mini-game using the Viscera Cleanup Detail mechanics.”

Playing as a janitor, you can use a custom mop, commercial grade plastic gloves, a high tech viscera finder, and an industrial incinerator to “clean up blood, guts, and the occasional dismembered arm.”

You will need to plan your strategy wisely, otherwise you will track bloody footprints across your sparkling clean floors.

Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior is available now for free to all owners of Shadow Warrior on Steam, GOG, Humble Store and other services.
