WB Games will expand its Montreal studio, adding 100 positions over the next five years. The expansion is part of a deal with the Quebec government which invested $63 million in grant money and incentives into the Batman: Arkham Origins studio. This is to help support the local development scene, and the new positions are expected to pay approximately $70,000 annually to employees. At present, the studio has around 325 permanent employees. Earlier this week, Ubisoft was a recipient of a $9.9 million grant by the government which it will use to expand it Montreal studio by 500 jobs. Thanks, GI International.
