Sony Online Entertainment has opened a founder’s program for EverQuest Next Landmark, the worldbuilding sandbox which will presage the new MMO.
Three kinds of Founder’s Pack are available from Landmark’s website – $20, $60 and $100 tiers.
The $20 Settler Pack will be delivered by March 31, 2014, and includes unlimited closed beta access, a settler flag item, a founder’s pickaxe, the title of founder and forum title of founder.
The $60 Explorer Pack will be delivered by February 28, 2014, and includes all the above as well as alpha access, an explorer flag item, the ring of bounty, a mega pocket, courtier’s regalia and tech sergeant’s gear.
The $100 Trailblazer pack is also due on or before February 28 and includes everything above, as well as the trailblazer flag item, a mastercraft bracer, void vault, noble’s regalia, tech commander’s gear, four shareable closed beta keys, an open beta boost and your name in the game’s credits.
If you buy in at the $100 tier during alpha, you’ll also get early access to the beat forum, the forum title Trailblazer, an alpha boost and the title Trailblazer.
Players may find their creations used by Sony Online Entertainment in Everquest Next itself; you’ll literally be helping to build the MMORPG’s world. Take a look at how it works in this Everquest Next Landmark footage.
