The promised Performance Update 01 for PlanetSide 2 has been released. According to the patch notes, the game has been “refactored”in order to utilize multiple CPU cores and the same has been a done for UI rendering. The team has also added adaptive complexity levels for physics simulations based on current client performance; optimized the CPU cost of some purely aesthetic physics objects; disabled redundant physics processing between remotely-simulated vehicles; and many other performace tweaks and changes. You can read the list over on PCgamesN. Planetside 2 will hit PlayStation 4 in early 2014
