Fnatic wins $100K in biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament to date

Swedish e-sports team Fnatic has taken home the title for DreamHack Winter 2013 winning the event’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. The team won $100K, the biggest share of the $250K prize pool.

Fnatic played the final game against -the amusingly named- Ninjas in Pijamas, it was played on the map de_train, and PCGamesN reports that the team pulled off a comeback of 16-14 after NiP had a double-digit lead.

The $250K prize pool is made of community purchases of CS:GO’s weapon crates, similar Valve’s compendium concept for Dota 2.
