Basement Crawl hits PS4 in Europe this month, new gameplay trailer released

Basement Crawl will arrive for European PlayStation 4 users shortly, Bloober Team has announced, promising a North American release date soon and giving us a look at the multiplayer title in action.

The PS4 exclusive hits Europe on January 29. It’ll set you back $10/€10/₤8.

A Bomberman-style affair with a grindhouse aesthetic, Basement Crawl boasts four player local and eight player online multiplayer.

“Basement Crawl finally gives PlayStation 4 owners a reason to invite their friends over to show off their systems – our amazing local multiplayer that is as addictive as it is competitive,” Bloober CEO Piotr Babieno said.

“Basement Crawl rewards skill and practice, which means a good player will never get cheated out of a win by someone who grinds with better gear. For any PS4 owner out there who is still looking for a really fun, truly unique multiplayer game for their new system, Basement Crawl is it.”

A Polish indie, Bloober Team has a fond place in our hearts, and not just for PS3 and Vita title A-Men (and the underwhelming Deathmatch Village). It is all that is left of shuttered team Nibris, which quietly folded before delivering much-anticipated Wii adventure Sadness.
