GOG retrospective video celebrates DRM-free digital distributors’s accomplishments

By Brenna Hillier

CD Projekt takes a look back over the leaps and bounds its digital distribution platform has made in its short history.

As well as discussing the challenges and triumphs GOG has faced, the team also revealed some present day statistics. The games catalogue now numbers in the hundreds, includes a substantial proportion of indie games, and spans almost 40 years.

Thinking about the future, CD Projekt seems pretty sure the best thing to do is exactly what it’s been doing – and stresses that adding DRM is never an option.

Thanks, Polygon.
