PlayStation Now will support PlayStaion 3 games and eventually the ability to locally emulate PS1 and PS2 titles will be added, according to a Digital Foundry report.
Speaking with Eurogamer, the anonymous source working on the tech behind PlayStation Now said team behind the emulator for PS4 are working to bring
Sony’s internal emulator is already used on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, but the incarnation in the works for PlayStation 4 is “actively pursuing the ability for older titles to run without the blurry upscaling seen on PS3,” according to the report.
What this means for those who want it in layman’s terms, is that native HD resolutions are being targeted for older games on PS4.

PlayStation Now is currently slated to release during Q3 2014 in the US, and in Asia during Q4. Europe isn’t expected to receive the service until Q1 2015.
