Dark Souls 2 has scored a “T” rating from the ESRB – a first for the series.
Beware of spoilers.
The “T”, or Teen rating is lowest any game has scored in the Souls franchise, with the previous iterations scoring an “M” rating. The ESRB listing page mentions blood and gore, mild language, partial nudity among the major themes of the RPG.
A giant snake boss holding its severed head and a giant boss creature composed of hundreds of corpses are among the things you will encounter during the game.
Dark Souls 2 is out on PS3 and Xbox 360 March 11 in North America, March 14 in Europe, with a PC release in May.
Thanks, Destructoid.
