The newest update for Shroud of the Avatar allows early release players to try out some of the multiplayer features.
Chat and friend-finding systems are available in the new update, as well as a new village, Braemar, improved crafting functionality, and access to merchants, to sell items.
“In the last eight weeks we’ve asked our backers to enter the world so they can experience our progress first hand,” said creative director, Richard Garriott. “The momentum is building and now we have a chance to see how our multiplayer functionality stands up to the test.”
New early release content is being rolled out to backers of the Shroud of the Avatar Kickstarter campaign on a monthly basis.
