The Golf Club will be made available through Steam Early Access, HB Studios has announced. The developer said that it is looking at Steam Workshop integration and possibly SteamOS as well.
“We’ll be announcing information very soon about the closed beta which will take place on Steam,” stated the firm on the game’s official website.
“After that closed testing period we are planning to open up the game as an Early Access on Steam. This will allow everyone who wants to start playing early to get access to the game before it’s finished. There’s a lot of potential for future development via Steam – in terms of Steam Workshop integration or SteamOS and controller support.
“We’re really excited to be on the platform and can’t wait to get the game into everyone’s hands.”
The simulation game aims to deliver a realistic golf experience without loading times or multiplayer lobbies, and the ability to craft courses via course creator. The latter will allow users to craft tournaments and tours which can be shared withe friends and the community.
The Golf Club is also coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in northern spring.
