XSEED promises it’s shipping more copies of hard-to-find Rune Factory 4

Ont its company Facebook page, XSEED has noted that folks in North America have been having a difficult time tracking down copies of Harvest Moon dungeon spinoff Rune Factory 4 for the 3DS, but they promise that situation will change soon.

Apparently folks have been concerned that the game’s scarcity is due to a lack of effort in distribution on XSEED’s part, but the company said that isn’t accurate.

“Don’t worry! It’s just been selling well beyond our expectations, so we’re working as quickly as possible to restock physical copies. We encourage you to periodically check back with retailers since they should be getting more in stock soon,” the Facebook post read.

Despite this alleged success since the game’s launch in North America on October 1, Rune Factory 4’s European release was canceled two weeks ago. And despite some financial troubles, developer Neverland has a new game they’re announcing this coming week that may be a fifth Rune Factory title.
