The Last of Us and Uncharted developer Naughty Dog has apparently been hiding information in plain sight, and is “surprised” fans haven’t it – whatever it is.
In a comment on a blog post on the developer’s website, Naughty Dog web developer Jason Paul hinted that fans should be on the look out for some sort of mysterious information.
“I’m just surprised no one has yet to find some of the secrets we have dropped around the internet,” he said.
The comment appeared on a thread discussing both Uncharted and The Last of Us, in which fans requested information regarding upcoming releases and DLC plans. It’s not clear which franchise Paul was referring to, although as The Last of Us still has one DLC pack to come, and it’s a multiplayer affair, Uncharted seems the more likely candidate – especially as a new Uncharted was announced for PlayStation 4 late last year.
OPM collated a list of websites created by Paul in his role as web developer, as well as a number of social media accounts connected to The Last of Us, but nobody seems to have turned up anything meaningful yet.
If Uncharted 4 is due for reveal, we’ll probably see it at E3 2014 in June. The E3 teases are sure to start piling up now that we’re a few months out; already today we’ve had a spurious hint that we’ll see Dishonored 2.
