Eufloria Adventures lands on PlayStation Mobile this week

By Stephany Nunneley

Eufloria Adventures will be released for PlayStation Mobile this week through PlayStation Network, Omni Systems has announced.

A different take on the original Eufloria, the new title takes place in the same universe and finds the player dispatched by the Mother Tree to investigate a strange alien installation.

Upon exploring the alien installation, players will find the diaries of previous seedlings which will provide more information on the installation.

Players can evolve a single Seedling Ship in specializing in various attributes such as: speed, strength or energy. All evolving ships have a story arc which will provide the player with some background lore.

Omni Systems said the game can be played in casual mode for exploration purposes, or play a roguelike mode which is described as “brutally hard.”

As with the original game, players will also eventually hit harder levels, in this case areas, and will need to have powered up enough to survive.

All levels are procedurally generated, and populated with procedural plants, trees, flowers, and strange creatures.

The game is played using only touch controls for now as it seemed “the best fit for all PS Mobile devices,” and for accessibility purposes.

A price was not provided.
