Nintendo being sued for patent infringement by Secure Axcess

Nintendo is involved in another lawsuit, this time over a Wii U patent.

Nintendo Co. Ltd, Nintendo of America and other companies are being accused of patent infringement by Secure Axcess, LLC.

The company claims that its patent issued on February 18, 2003 for “a computer providing multiple display capability where one display presents the current document and another display may show a true display of a previously opened document,” was infringed upon.

Secure Axcess is seeking “compensatory damages, costs, among other reliefs,” from the companies for selling Wii U “without license or authorization,” according to Nintendo World Report.

The company has previously taken legal action against Nintendo over the same patent over DS, DS Lite, DSi, 3DS, and 3DS XL.
