Omni VR treadmill benefits from $3 million seed investment

By Stephany Nunneley

The Omni VR treadmill has benefited from a seed investment of $3 million, according to developer Virtuix. This is in conjunction with the $1.1 million raised on Kickstarter. The exercise machine makes use of VR headsets as users run, walk, jump and cry via a 360 degree virtual environment. It will be released in September for $499 and already 3,000 folks have pre-ordered it. Thanks, Shack.
