Microsoft has revealed its first free Xbox One games that will start the console’s Games With Gold incentive in June, while 360 owners can look forward to a free download of Dark Souls and other titles.

It follows Microsoft’s announcement of a new, cheaper Kinect-less Xbox One bundle, launching June 9.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Microsoft confirmed that Max: Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault will be free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox One in June.

Additionally, Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome will be discounted as part of the scheme, with between 50-75% off other games in coming months.

Microsoft added that Xbox Live Games With Gold will continue on Xbox 360, and that Dark Souls, Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will be free in June.
