It’s E3 time again, which means the site will be bombarded with assets such as trailers and screenshots and floor images and the like. Today, Capcom has decided it didn’t want to be lost in the shuffle, so it released its E3 trailer for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate early.
Launching on Nintendo 3DS in the west in early 2015, the newest installment in the series puts players in the role of a hunter on a “grand adventure” with a traveling caravan.
Players will visit several new locales with hundreds of quests to be cleared along the journey, and for the first time ever on handhelds, players can join up via Nintendo Network or their local wireless connection and do whatever it is they want to do.
The game includes more vertical and lateral movement, more fluid climbing motions, as well as the ability to ride atop monsters. Who wouldn’t want that ability?
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate also debuts two weapon classes, features new and returning monsters, and spans more locales “than ever before.”
