Those who dole out cash for Sony’s newest Xperia Z3 mobiles will be able to stream games from their PlayStation 4.
This means you can play remotely without the need for PlayStation Vita. Plus, with the phone’s two days of battery life, and a 1080p 5.2-inch display, 3GB of RAM and a 2.5GHz quad-core processor – it’s pretty powerful.
Remote Play will be possible on the standard Z3 model, the Z3 Compact and the Z3 Tablet, according to MCV.
Users will be able to stream games from their PS4 using the PlayStation App come November, but they will need to be connected to the same wi-fi network as their console.
If they connect their Z3 to the DualShock 4 via Sony’s GCM10 Game Controller attachment they will also have “virtually unlimited access to off-screen gaming in the home.”
Internet Remote Play could also be a possible option in the future, according to Sony.
