Valve has announced today that Steam’s user base has grown to reach over 100 million active accounts.
The company announced the number today following the Steam store customisation overhaul, and said that over 1,300 new titles were added to Steam in the past nine months.
“We have made great efforts to increase the number of titles we can publish on Steam, which means more choices for customers,” said Valve’s Alden Kroll of the new update. “This update introduces multiple features and functionality to help customers explore Steam’s growing catalog and find the games they are most interested in playing.”
Steam currently has over 3,700 games. Peak user numbers go over 7 million, and ranges between 3 and 5 million daily.
