PlayStation 4 exclusive racer Driveclub is finally out after multiple delays, but is it a Forza killer, or just another racing game? Find out what the critics thought after the break.
Driveclub is Evolution Studios’ first game on PS4, a racing game from a studio that knows the genre all too well. The game will render at 1080p/ 30FPS, similar to Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 2. Developer Evolution Studios wants to make sure the game stands out from the juggernaut that is Gran Turismo, it’s trying to make a game with more of an arcadey feel and is attempting to appeal to a wider audience.
A dynamic weather system and a photo mode will not launch with the game, but are planned to release later, with no specific date. A free PS Plus Edition will also be available for free for any current subscriber. This version will come with 11 tracks, all taking place in India, ten cars and all the multiplayer modes.
