Game designers speak out against harassment in latest indie documentary

By Matt Martin

New interviews from the forthcoming documentary GameLoading: Rise of the Indies highlight the problems of sexism, harassment and abuse for designers in the video game business.

In footage shot between March and May 2014 – long before the so-called #GamerGate controversy – developers Zoe Quinn (Depression Quest) and Catt Small (Code Liberation), amongst others, detail the personal attacks and professional problems they’ve faced on a daily basis.

GameLoading is currently on Kickstarter, trying to raise $50,000 with the intention of being in cinemas and online by March 2015.
