A trademark registration with the German Patent and Trademark Office which popped up this morning for Fallout: Shadow of Boston has proven to be a fake.
The German trademark filing that's making the rounds is a hoax. This didn't come from our offices.

Most of us figured this was the case anyway, but you never know.
The trademark was reportedly registered by Fallout developer Bethesda less than two weeks ago. The listing is for “game discs” “downloadable computer game programs” and “auditioning for tv shows”.
This faux trademark was very much in line with those posted in February which suggested that a game called Fallout: Shadow Shadow(s) of Boston was in the works for a 2017 release and that Ron Perlman was involved.
There were also rumblings of casting calls for a Fallout game set in Boston by the same name around that time but nothing was comfirmed.
