Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will indeed have zombies in it, although we still don’t have details.
A pulled Advanced Warfare trailer outed zombies last week, but a press release from retailer GameStop has confirmed their inclusion.
The text of the press release doesn’t make it clear where or why the creatures will appear, but I feel pretty confident interpreting it as a return of the popular Zombies mode from Treyarch’s Call of Duty games.
“This just in, Zombies are back as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass,” the retailer said.
According to the press release, the season pass also includes four multiplayer map packs and one individual map – Atlas Gorge, a remake of Modern Warfare’s Pipeline. Dates were not supplied for the content, although the first map pack is due in January,
The Advanced Warfare season pass will set you back $50. The latest Call of Duty will be available November 3 (already happening at time of writing, in some territories) – as the Day Zero edition, but officially releases on November 4.
